Volleyball Recap: Sayville Wins Going Away Against Hampton Bays

Sayville entered their tilt with Hampton Bays on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Baymen. That two set margin sets a new team best for the Golden Flashes this season.

Sayville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-20, 25-16, 25-18.

Khylee Boesch paced Sayville's offense, picking up 16 kills. Boesch got some help from Jenna Brown and her 31 assists. Karley Ruckert controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Sayville now has a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Sayville will look to defend their home court on the 22nd against Hauppauge at 3:30 p.m. Hampton Bays does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
