Henrico can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They put the hurt on the Armstrong Wildcats with a sharp 16-8 victory. The Warriors not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 19th (when they won 17-0).

Henrico's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-6. As for Armstrong, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coming up, Henrico will face off against Hopewell at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Blue Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.4 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Armstrong, they are taking a road trip to take on Manchester at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lancers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
