            Football Recap: Claremont Wolfpack vs. Glendora Tartans        
        
		
        
        
            
Claremont extended their losing streak  to three  on Friday, dropping them down to 6-3. They took  a  35-21 bruising from the Glendora Tartans. The Wolfpack were not able to make up for their  loss to the Tartans from their previous meeting  back in October of 2024.

 Several Wolfpack players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Brandon Coronado, who threw for 257 yards and a pair of  touchdowns. Claremont also got help from  Max Leeper, who showed off his sure hands for 97  receiving yards.
As for Glendora, they moved to 2-7 with that  win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Their offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.
 A big part of Glendora's  victory came down to the chemistry between  Sebastian Lawrence and his top target  Jarod Ceniceros. Lawrence threw for 200 yards and two  TDs while  Ceniceros picked up 98 receiving yards and one  score. Those  98  receiving yards gave  Ceniceros a new career-high.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Claremont is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Colony  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Glendora will  square off against  rival Los Osos  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
