Basketball Game Preview: Triangle Math & Science Academy Tigers vs. Research Triangle Charter Academy

Triangle Math & Science Academy's defense has only allowed 29 points per game this season, so Research Triangle Charter Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Triangle Math & Science Academy turned things around against Excelsior Classical Academy on Wednesday. They strolled past the Flying Lions with points to spare, taking the game 34-16. The Tigers pushed the score to 31-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Flying Lions cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Research Triangle Charter Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They had just enough and edged out Voyager Academy 32-30.

Triangle Math & Science Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Research Triangle Charter Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
