Baseball Recap: Troy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Troy can now relate to. They came up short against the Ballston Spa Scotties on Saturday, falling 8-1. If the Flying Horses were looking for revenge after losing 9-1 to the Scotties when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Troy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Fraser, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Troy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Ballston Spa, they pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Troy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ballston Spa, they will face off against Columbia at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
