Football Game Preview: James Wood vs. Millbrook

On Friday James Wood take on Millbrook at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against James Wood, but that can only make success all the sweeter.

It was all tied up at halftime, but James Wood weren't quite Liberty's equal in the second half when they met last Friday. James Wood fell to Liberty 23-32. This makes it the second loss in a row for James Wood.

Meanwhile, Millbrook took an ego-bruising defeat against Kettle Run two weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back last Saturday. Millbrook were able to grind out a solid victory over Handley, winning 36-28.

Millbrook's win lifted them to 5-2 while James Wood's loss dropped them down to 2-4. We'll find out if Millbrook can add another positive mark to their record or if James Wood can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Millbrook's step.
