Seneca has gone 8-2 against Kickapoo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Indians will be playing at home against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.
Kickapoo will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Seneca extended their winning streak to four on Thursday. The Indians put the hurt on De Soto with a sharp 9-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Lily Payne was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Payne was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those two hits gave her a new career-high.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous six matchup, Kickapoo brought some dynamite into their most recent game. Everything went their way against North Crawford on Monday as they made off with a 15-4 victory. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Maddy Townsend made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Townsend was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.

Seneca now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Kickapoo, the win was their first at home, bumping their record up to 2-8.
Seneca came out on top in a nail-biter against Kickapoo when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 4-2. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
