 In what's become a running theme this season, St. Johns gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Monday. They were the clear victor by  an  8-2 margin over the Chinle Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for St. Johns, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Brennon Leslie spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up eight Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Michael Bushman was  excellent,  going 1-for-4 with a  home run and three  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Everett McFee, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-4.
 The  win  made it two in a row for St. Johns and  bumps their season record up to 15-10. As for Chinle, their loss  ended  a  six-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 15-12.
 St. Johns does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chinle, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Tanque Verde at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Tanque Verde's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8  runs per game  this season, so Chinle's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
