Softball Recap: Harper Victorious

Harper won against Mason last Saturday with 20 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Longhorns didn't even let the Punchers on the board, marking the Longhorns' second-straight 20-0 shutout. The Longhorns haven't had any issues with the Punchers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Harper's win bumped their record up to 11-7-1. As for Mason, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Looking ahead, Harper will head out on the road to take on Junction at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.77 runs per game on average), something the Longhorns will no doubt try to take advantage of. Mason does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
