Softball Recap: North Warren Regional Takes a Loss

North Warren Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-4 to the Vernon Vikings, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, with their most recent defeat being a 5-4 loss on Thursday.

North Warren Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Vernon, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

North Warren Regional has already played their next game, an 8-7 victory against Kittatinny Regional on the 20th. As for Vernon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-3 loss against Morris Catholic on the 20th.
