Softball Recap: Arrowhead Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Arrowhead barely beat Menomonee Falls the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warhawks blew past the Phoenix 11-3 on Monday. The Warhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by eight runs or more this season.

The win was the third in a row for Arrowhead, bringing their record up to 10-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Menomonee Falls, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arrowhead will challenge Mukwonago at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.17 runs per game on average), something the Warhawks will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Menomonee Falls, they will square off against Whitnall at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Phoenix's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
