Softball Recap: Pearsall Takes a Loss

Pearsall's tournament run continued when they took on Reagan on Friday. The Pearsall Mavericks might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-2 to the Reagan Rattlers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pearsall saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kirsten Morales, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Pearsall's loss dropped their record down to 9-5-1. As for Reagan, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Pearsall wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Cornerstone Christian on the 28th. As for Reagan, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Medina Valley on the 1st.
