William Young Jr. leads Littlerock to victory over Highland

Recap: Littlerock Lobos vs. Highland Bulldogs

The Littlerock Lobos had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They managed a 51-46 victory over Highland. This was payback for Littlerock, who suffered a 45-35 loss the last time these two teams met.

William Young Jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with five rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Littlerock's points. Sean Morgan was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Littlerock now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Highland, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.

Littlerock won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against George Washington Prep at 5:35 p.m. on January 20th. As for Highland, they will head out on the road to face off against Antelope Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Antelope Valley is on a seven-game streak of home losses, Highland a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
