Baseball Recap: Garber Comes Up Short

Garber suffered their closest loss since March 26, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Sentinel by a score of 10-8. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolverines of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Colton Steinert made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Kennon Sharp was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

Garber's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Sentinel, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Coming up, Garber will take on Mulhall-Orlando at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sentinel has already played their next game (against Hydro-Eakly), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
