It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Casteel had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They skirted past the Higley Knights 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Colts in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won six in a row.

Baylor Denny made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Denny was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run.

Denny wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Ryne Barker, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Casteel's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Higley, their loss dropped their record down to 18-11.

As of now, neither Casteel nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
