Basketball Recap: Lenawee Christian Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Lenawee Christian won the last time they faced Waldron and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lenawee Christian Cougars put the hurt on the Waldron Spartans with a sharp 61-37 win. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 22 points or more this season.

Lenawee Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaxon Salenbien out in front who went 10-for-17 to rack up 23 points and three steals. The contest was Salenbien's 23rd in a row with at least 15 points. Aidan Kaulins was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Lenawee Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.1 points over those games. Waldron's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7.

Lenawee Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-54 win against Concord on the 6th. Waldron does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
