Cold Springs is 8-2 against Winston County since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Yellowjackets at 4:30 p.m. Cold Springs will be strutting in after a win while Winston County will be coming in after a loss.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Cold Springs came out on top against Vinemont by a score of 11-6.

Meanwhile, Winston County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Sumiton Christian. That's two games in a row now that the Yellowjackets have lost by just one run.

Winston County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Fisher Roberts, who went 3-for-4 with one double.

Cold Springs has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Winston County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.

Cold Springs beat Winston County 5-0 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Yellowjackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
