Conway was the 2-0 winner over Blue Eye when they last played one another back in September of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs on Saturday. The Bears' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Adalee Letterman paced Conway's offense, picking up four kills. Letterman also shared the team's lead in assists with Arianna Hughes: they picked up three each. Karli Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Conway's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Blue Eye, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2-1 record this season.

Conway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Laquey on the 29th. As for Blue Eye, they will square off against Sparta at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
