Basketball Recap: West Middlesex Takes a Loss

West Middlesex was the 57-54 winner over Greenville when they last played one another back in December of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Big Reds were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 67-66 to the Trojans. The Big Reds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Middlesex's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Greenville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

West Middlesex and Reynolds will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The Big Reds will be up against the Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 60.82 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Greenville, they will face off against Sharpsville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
