Baseball Recap: King Takes a Loss

King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws.

King saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Villarreal, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Jourdanton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

King has already played their next match, a 4-3 loss against Incarnate Word Academy on the 1st. As for Jourdanton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-4 tie against Ingleside on the 28th.
