Myles Richardson Turns in Season-Best Performance

On Friday, Valley Union got the W thanks in part to Myles Richardson playing the best football he has all season. His longest reception was for an incredible 85 yards.

For the year, Richardson has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 44.9 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 5.71 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 75.43 rushing yards.

While Tanner Decker delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for San Manuel. Nobody could stop Decker as he rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Luke Haymore Makes It Two for St. David

The second St. David player making an appearance here is Luke Haymore, and for good reason. He rushed for 23 yards and a touchdown.

Haymore must have Fort Thomas's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Haymore picked up 90 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Apaches duked it out back in October of 2023.
