Football Recap: Capital Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 44 points the game before, Capital was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 10-9 to the Peninsula Seahawks. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Seahawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Capital's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Peninsula, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Capital will take on rival Timberline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Peninsula is set to square off against their familiar foe North Thurston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
