Basketball Recap: Sageview Comes Up Short

Sageview played a tough matchup on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Kennewick Lions and fell 46-14. While losing is never fun, the Lobos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while the Lions are ranked 101st).

Sageview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Kennewick, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sageview will challenge rival Hanford at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kennewick is set to take on their familiar foe Southridge at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
