Volleyball Recap: Gila Ridge Extends Winning Streak to Four

Gila Ridge had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Kofa Kings as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

One reason for the win was Gila Ridge's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-10, 25-9.

Gila Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Kofa, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Gila Ridge will square off against rival San Luis at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Kofa is set to challenge their familiar foe Cibola at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
