Basketball Recap: Russell Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Russell and Billings Senior squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Russell had to settle for second. They took a 64-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Billings Senior Broncs. The Rustlers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Broncs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Russell's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Billings Senior, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

As of now, neither Russell nor Billings Senior have any future games scheduled.
