Football Recap: Lanier Comes Up Short

Lanier lost against Randolph back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Voks fell 28-21 to the Ro-Hawks. The Voks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lanier's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Randolph, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Lanier will be playing in front of their home fans against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Voks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Randolph, they will head out on the road to take on Cole at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Ro-Hawks will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
