Softball Recap: Kearsley Hornets vs. Fenton Tigers

Kearsley extended their losing streak to eight on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 2-12 in the process. They lost 15-0 to the Fenton Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 16-0 loss on Thursday.

As for Fenton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3-1 record this season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 games by six runs or more this season.

For Fenton's part, Abby Golen made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.
