Falls Lake won the last time they faced Northern Durham and things went their way on Friday too. The Falls Lake Firebirds walked away with a 13-8 victory over the Northern Durham Knights. With that win, the Firebirds brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Wynterlee Glenn made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and five unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
