Softball Recap: North Laurel Jaguars vs. Perry County Central Commodores
North Laurel dropped their record down to 26-3-1 on Thursday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins on the road. They fell just short of the Perry County Central Commodores by a score of 4-2. If the Jaguars were looking for revenge after losing 13-1 to the Commodores when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Tessa Monhollen made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

As for Perry County Central, they will host Lexington Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Commodores have won eight straight at home, while the Knights won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
