Volleyball Recap: Poteet Takes a Loss

Poteet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Medina Bobcats.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Poteet sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 22-25, 25-18.

Poteet's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Medina, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Poteet is taking a road trip to take on Pettus at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Medina, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Pearsall on the 21st.
