Football Recap: Lathrop Malemutes vs. Soldotna Stars
On Saturday, Lathrop faced Soldotna in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Lathrop Malemutes came out on top against the Soldotna Stars by a score of 35-28. For the Malemutes, this counts as revenge for the 64-14 loss the Stars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2023.

As for Soldotna, they will square off against North Pole at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Pole will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Soldotna surely won't give up without a fight.
