Softball Recap: Ansonia Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Ansonia put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Union City. The Tigers walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Indians. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Not much got past Bre Walker, who gave up just two hits and racked up 16 Ks to keep Union City off the board. With that strong performance, Walker is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game.

At the plate, Ansonia saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miley Walls, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Ansonia's record is now 13-8. As for Union City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.
