Softball Game Preview: James Monroe Yellow Jackets vs. Courtland Cougars

The Yellow Jackets will head out on the road to challenge the Cougars at 4:30 p.m. James Monroe has given up an average of 9.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, Courtland posted their closest victory since March 20, 2024 on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Chancellor, sneaking past 1-0. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won four in a row.

James Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Courtland, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.
