Boulder gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Heritage Eagles 2-1. That's more bragging rights for Boulder, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mikel Mackey and Levi Turner scored both of Boulder's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Boulder didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 defeat against Ralston Valley on the 4th. As for Heritage, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Denver East at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th.
