Softball Recap: North River Christian Comes Up Short

North River Christian was the 14-2 winner over Coosa Valley Academy when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The North River Christian Chargers fell 9-6 to the Coosa Valley Academy Rebels on Monday. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gracie Dice made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. What's more, she posted three hits, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Alex D was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

North River Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Coosa Valley Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

While North River Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
