Softball Preview: Buford Wolves vs. Mill Creek Hawks
Buford has enjoyed a five-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will head out to square off against the Mill Creek Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Mill Creek was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .447. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dacula only posted a batting average of .269.
Buford's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-1. As for Mill Creek, their record now sits at 17-5.
Everything went Buford's way against Mill Creek when the teams last played back in September, as Buford made off with a 9-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Buford since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
