Soccer Game Preview: Bennett vs. The Pinnacle

The Bennett Tigers will take on The Pinnacle at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bennett's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

If The Pinnacle heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Bennett took over last week. The Tigers won by a goal and slipped past Weld Central 2-1. The win continues a trend for Bennett in their matchups with Weld Central: they've now won three in a row.

Emma Faczak and Meagan Green scored both of Bennett's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, The Pinnacle made easy work of William Smith on Monday and carried off a 7-1 victory. Considering The Pinnacle have won four matchups by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The Pinnacle's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-3. As for Bennett, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Bennett took their win against The Pinnacle when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Timberwolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
