Soccer Recap: Crockett Comes Up Short

Crockett managed to keep up with Bastrop until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Crockett Cougars came up short against the Bastrop Bears, falling 5-2. The loss leaves the Cougars without a win on the season.

Crockett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bastrop, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Looking ahead, Crockett will challenge Navarro at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bastrop, they will face off against Anderson at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Anderson will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Bastrop surely won't give up without a fight.
