South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Whitmire Wolverines, falling 39-11. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-17 back in December of 2024.

Whitmire found their leader in sophomore Braylen Sartor, who posted ten points and five assists. Seth Rueter was another key player, putting up ten points.

South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Whitmire, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-15.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Dixie the next time they take the court. Whitmire will head out to face Dixie at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
