Volleyball Game Preview: Franklin Panthers vs. Wilson Mules

The Franklin Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Wilson Mules at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Franklin has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 6.

Franklin lost 3-0 to Eagle Rock on Wednesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19, 25-15.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wilson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Lincoln on Monday. The Mules haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Wilson had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-22, 25-16, 25-21.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Wilson, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.

Franklin couldn't quite get it done against Wilson in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 3-1. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
