ED White hasn't had much luck against Englewood recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Commanders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 6:00 p.m. ED White knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Englewood likes a good challenge.
ED White came out on top against Ribault on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Commanders blew past the Trojans 11-1. Fans of the Commanders have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Marion Laguerre was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.
In other batting news, ED White got a big performance out of Kenai Wilkins, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Clayton Friddell, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
ED White kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Englewood fell victim to Atlantic Coast and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Stingrays, falling 22-0. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Stingrays recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Englewood's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for ED White, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
Englewood's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: ED White has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .663. It's a different story for Englewood, though, as they've only averaged .270. Will they be able to contain ED White's hitters?
