Soccer Recap: Lincoln Park Takes a Loss

Lincoln Park lost against Maine West back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions came up short against the Warriors, falling 5-1. Lincoln Park have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Lincoln Park's loss dropped their record down to 8-7-4. As for Maine West, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4-2 record this season.

Lincoln Park and Maine West are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Lions will welcome Kennedy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Maine West, they will venture away from home to challenge Niles North at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Niles North's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
