Basketball Recap: Harvard Comes Up Short

Harvard managed to keep up with Franklin until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Harvard Cardinals came up short against the Franklin Flyers, falling 51-27. The Cardinals' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Harvard's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Franklin, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Harvard Cardinals challenge the Axtell Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Franklin, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lawrence-Nelson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
