For the second straight game, Lucas will face off against Central Christian. The Cubs will head out on the road to take on the Comets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lucas is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Lucas barely beat Central Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cubs put the hurt on the Comets with a sharp 26-7 win on Monday. The Cubs have beaten the Comets the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Comets has come to flipping the script.

Arianna Ohm looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Destiny Foss, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with five runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. What's more, she posted three hits, the most she's had since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Emma Brown, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI.

Lucas always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .610. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Lucas' victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-5. As for Central Christian, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
