Volleyball Recap: Arendell Parrott Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Arendell Parrott Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wayne Christian Eagles. The Patriots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Arendell Parrott Academy wouldn't go down easily and took Wayne Christian into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 22-25, 22-25, 15-11.

Georgia Fanning paced Arendell Parrott Academy's offense, picking up 23 kills. Fanning got some help from Jaiden Lucas and her 30 assists. Fanning was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Arendell Parrott Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Wayne Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-8.

As of now, neither Arendell Parrott Academy nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
