Soccer Game Preview: Stratford vs. Notre Dame Prep

The Stratford Red Devils will head out to challenge the Notre Dame Prep Lancers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Notre Dame Prep will have to contend with a Stratford squad hungry for a victory, something the team hasn't seen since September 9. Stratford lost 4-0 to Bunnell on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Stratford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 64th, while Bunnell are ranked 16th).

Meanwhile, Notre Dame Prep came up short against Stamford on Monday, falling 6-2.

Stratford now has a losing record of 5-6-3. As for Notre Dame Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15-4.
