Volleyball Game Preview: Hinkley Thunder vs. George Washington Patriots

Hinkley is 1-6 against George Washington since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Hinkley came up short against Northfield last Friday, falling 3-0.

Hinkley was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-8, 25-22.

Meanwhile, George Washington suffered their biggest loss since September 17th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Thomas Jefferson.

George Washington took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-18, 25-22.

George Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Hinkley, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.
