Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Choctawhatchee). They took down the Mosley Dolphins 66-52 on Tuesday. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 141st, while the Dolphins are ranked 371st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Dolphins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was McKenzie Rimmer, who posted 11 points and seven boards. Faith Alvarado was another key player, putting up 11 points along with seven assists and six boards.

The victory made it two in a row for Choctawhatchee and bumps their season record up to 7-8. As for Mosley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Choctawhatchee will host Niceville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mosley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Walton at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
