Baseball Recap: Homestead Spartans vs. Huntington North Vikings

It's playoff time, and Homestead had no trouble coming through when it counted. They beat the Huntington North Vikings on Thursday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-3. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Ryne Michaeloff spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
