Football Recap: West Scranton Invaders vs. Abington Heights Comets
West Scranton fell victim to Abington Heights and their airtight defense on Saturday. They were dealt a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Abington Heights Comets. While losing is never fun, the Invaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 410th, while the Comets are ranked 149th).
Dominic Vergnetti went supernova for Abington Heights, rushing for 72 yards and two touchdowns.
West Scranton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Abington Heights, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
